Listening to music affects the brain because it releases dopamine, a hormone that improves your mood. If you feel very stressed, I suggest you listen to their music (the chainsmokers).
Through these songs they are able to express their feelings, and thoughts to us. Listening to their music brightens up my mood, helps me relax and relieves my stress. I often play their music while doing projects or if i feel like listening. Whenever i hear their music play I always get active and feel positive.
